Letting Love In
Creating space for connections where individuals, relationships, and communities can experience deeper levels of joy, peace, and love.
Our philosophy is to cultivate opportunities for people to be Letting Love In at each level of their lives. We believe love is not just an emotion-it’s a transformative energy that shapes how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world around us. We are committed to creating intentional spaces – physical, emotional, and spiritual – where individuals, relationships, and communities are welcomed exactly as they are. In these spaces, connection becomes possible, vulnerability is honored, and healing can occur.

Meet Jess
Hi everyone! I’m Jess, creator of Letting Love In. I am passionate, empathetic, and driven. Working in social justice for over a decade has inspired me to start this business. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Irvine, I worked in the Prevention Department at Peace Over Violence (POV), a rape crisis and domestic violence center. Following my time with POV, I worked at Shasta College overseeing the Shasta CARES (Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education for Safety) Program. Within my previous roles at Shasta College and Peace Over Violence, I have had the opportunity to facilitate workshops and trainings on the following topics: Community Resiliency Model ®, with a goal to “help to create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-focused” communities that share a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system and how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach.”, Dynamics of Sexual and Domestic Violence, Transforming Rape Culture, and Being an Active Agent of Change.
I am now a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. I received my certification from Empowered Yoga Teacher Training™. I have also been trained through Transcending Sexual Trauma through Yoga and Ma Yoga (Prenatal Yoga). Further, I have been trained by Dr. Brenda Ingram Ed.D., LCSW on the Neurobiology of Trauma, Trauma-Informed Care, and Trauma-Informed Classroom Management. I have been trained on the Community Resiliency Model ® through the Trauma Resource Institute. I have taken a course with Stephen Porges as well on Polyvagal Theory and integrating neural exercises for safety and connection. These experiences and trainings benefit my work as I teach yoga through a trauma-informed and justice-centered lens, recognizing that people may show up on the mat for different reasons, experiences, and/or traumas that the 8-limbed path of yoga can help to regulate and heal. I am a Master Level Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, providing clients with the tools to elevate their minds and rewire their subconscious to be in more alignment with their Higher Self. These experiences along with my degree and trainings allow me to facilitate workshops for couples and the community as well as providing insight as a Resilient Relationship Coach guiding couples on The Letting Love In Path. My passion for working with couples and celebrating love contributes to my ability to curate custom ceremonies for partners on their wedding day as a Wedding Officiant. My passion and purpose are also shared through the trauma-informed yoga sessions I provide. I look forward to meeting you through one of my programs and services!
Meet Dennis
Hi, I’m Dennis—a storyteller, a survivor, and the heart and creative eye behind Soulful Photography.
My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve walked the path of recovery, grieved the loss of my father, and recently overcame a battle with cancer. These experiences have shaped the way I see the world — with deeper gratitude, presence, and purpose.
Photography isn’t just my passion — it’s my way of honoring life, love, and the moments that matter most. I’m here to tell stories that feel real and timeless, filled with emotion and soul.
Photography, for me, is deeply personal. It’s not just about taking beautiful pictures; it’s about capturing the real, raw, in-between moments—the laughs you didn’t expect, the quiet glances, the honest emotions that make your story yours. I’m here to preserve those moments in a way that feels natural, intentional, and true to who you are.
With a style that’s both modern and timeless, I approach every session with a calm presence and a genuine passion for connection. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, an intimate elopement, or a cozy couples session, my goal is always the same: to make you feel seen, celebrated, and completely at ease in front of the camera.
When you work with me, you’re not just hiring a photographer—you’re inviting someone who truly cares into your story. I’m here to cheer you on, to laugh with you, to chase the golden light, and to capture memories you’ll treasure forever.
If you’re looking for someone who sees beyond the surface and captures the heart of your story — I’m honored you’re here. I can’t wait to get to know you.
